PRESS RELEASE:
The recent debate on the storage of sensitive information in foreign cloud services has raised concerns. First it was the GDPR and then the new US "CLOUD Act" which meant that Swedish companies and authorities had to supplement their cloud services to solve this problem. Swedish Storegate offers these solutions and is now also launching connectivity to Azure AD.
Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) is Microsoft's cloud-based identity and access management service. Azure AD helps organizations log in and access resources in:
- External resources, such as Microsoft Office 365, the Azure portal and thousands of other SaaS applications.
- Internal resources, such as apps on the corporate network and intranet, along with cloud apps.
Storegate via Azure AD makes it easier for large enterprises and government agencies
The fact that Storegate is now also available via Azure AD means that it is even easier for large companies and public authorities to supplement with a Swedish cloud service.
- Today there is a great demand for services to secure, store and share files securely in the cloud. With Storegate you can now easily complement your existing cloud services to get legally correct and secure management of business data. Says Matz Karlsson, CEO of Storegate AB. This is because Storegate develops its services on its own platform and therefore as a Swedish company is subject to Swedish law. In addition, all files are stored in our own servers located in data warehouses located in Sweden at our partner Telia Carrier. Having our own platform also means that we can offer customised cloud services to secure, store and share files. Quite unique too, concludes Matz Karlsson.
