With Storegate ID control, we want to provide the same opportunities for smaller companies to build secure relationships with customers and employees as large companies can. Our ID control provides a user-friendly and secure way to legitimize customers and partners with BankID remotely via phone, chat and email. This is a requested service among our existing customers and it feels great to be able to offer it now.

Remote ID verification for all sectors
Storegate ID verification helps businesses large and small to ensure the identity of the people they do business with. Remote ID verification is a valuable tool for customer support and sales that often take place over the phone. It is also useful in the financial sector, where companies need to ensure they are not interacting with fraudsters or conducting transactions on incorrect accounts.
The ability to conduct fast, accurate and regular ID checks is crucial. With the rise of fraud and AI-generated counterfeits, there is a strong need to identify and stop such threats. It is also a legal requirement to identify customers if you operate in industries that handle money flows, where identification becomes part of the KYC (Know Your Customer) process.
