In line with recommendations from the Swedish Privacy Authority (IMY), eSam's report now gives the green light to public sector organisations to use Storegate's Swedish cloud service. This means that Storegate is one of the providers in the report that meets the requirements specification for document storage.
Swedish public sector organisations and municipalities have been eagerly awaiting the report published by eSam today, 18 November 2021. The report was first planned to be published in October but was brought forward due to the comments received during the consultation process.
Storegate solution approved in eSam report
We at Storegate are extremely pleased and proud to be selected as an approved solution in the eSam report. It shows that we as a Swedish cloud service provider can offer public and private organizations a reliable and GDPR-secure service for document storage and sharing of digital information, says Matz Karlsson, CEO at Storegate.
With Storegate's cloud service, Swedish authorities do not have to worry about the risks of transparency from foreign powers through regulations such as the CLOUD Act, FISA 702 or the invalidation of the Privacy Shield.
