2024 has been an eventful year for Storegate. With several strategic partnerships, new features and successful projects, we have continued to deliver secure and user-friendly solutions that help companies and organizations manage their digital processes. Here are some of the highlights of the year:
International initiative with Freja eID
In 2024, we have further strengthened our platform through a strategic partnership with Freja eID Group. Through this agreement, we now offer the possibility of digital identification for both Swedish and international users of our services for secure file sharing, digital signing and remote ID control.
The collaboration makes it possible to meet a growing demand from both the Swedish public sector and customers in other parts of Europe. Users can now easily identify themselves and sign agreements using Freja, creating smooth and secure processes regardless of where they are.
With this partnership, we continue to deliver on our promise to offer secure, Swedish cloud services that empower our customers' digital ways of working - now on an even broader international scale.
Tailored packages for different needs
During the year, we improved the user experience on our website and launched tailored packages to meet the specific needs of different industries and users.
Medical record exchange for healthcare providers
We have developed a secure solution for sharing patient data between healthcare providers in the private and public sectors. With support for e-identification, such as BankID and Freja eID, healthcare providers can efficiently and securely share X-ray images and medical records. This enables faster diagnoses and high patient safety.
Data coordination in construction and infrastructure projects
Our Data Coordination and Projects service brings all the elements of construction and infrastructure projects together in one place, simplifying the management of CAD drawings, reports and other critical files. Secure links also allow external parties to be easily included in the process.
Data room for board work and due diligence processes
For companies that handle sensitive information in board work or during due diligence processes, we offer a package where Storegate can be used as a data room. The service enables secure storage, digital signing and identity verification with BankID or Freja eID+. All files are stored in Swedish data centers, with full GDPR compliance.
Through these updates, we continue to adapt and refine our solutions to meet customer needs and strengthen the security of digital collaboration.
Municipalities and regions choose Storegate for secure file sharing
We see an increased demand from the public sector where several municipalities and regions turn to Storegate to secure data. One of these was the Technical Services Administration / Water & Waste in Motala municipality, which chose Storegate as a project platform for secure file sharing.
The municipality was looking for a reliable solution to manage sensitive information, and with Storegate they now have a platform that offers authorization-controlled access, ensuring that the right people have access to the right information. The platform also enables easy and secure access for external actors in the field.
With this project, we also strengthen our position as a leading supplier in the construction and VA sector, Motala municipality is in good company with customers such as Ramboll, SL and WSP. The solution is ideal for managing large files such as drawings and CAD documents, and helps companies streamline their projects - from tender to completion.
New features to boost security and simplify work
During the year, we continued to develop our Swedish cloud platform, SOSA (Storegate Online Storage Application), with a number of new features and improvements that strengthen both security and user experience. Among the year's launches are:
ID verification for groups: With our enhanced ID verification, customers can now identify large groups of people via BankID in a single step. This is particularly useful for digital board meetings, for example, where voting rights require identification.
Smart reminders: Now our business users can easily monitor contracts, files and folders by setting reminders for specific dates or recurring intervals. This is perfect for keeping track of contract dates, notice periods or regular updates.
Template signing: For customers using Storegate Signing, it is now possible to sign the same agreement with several independent parties through template signing. This simplifies the management of, for example, membership agreements, data processing agreements and rental agreements.
This year's Christmas gift to BRIS
This year we have also chosen to donate our Christmas gift to BRIS, which does invaluable work in supporting children and young people.
