Storegate takes Lattelecom’s customers to the cloud

  • Storegate has signed an agreement to provide online storage services to Lattelecom, the largest provider of integrated telecommunication, IT and TV services in Latvia. The agreement includes installation of SOSA (Storegate Online Storage Application) and full branded versions of all Storegate services.

At the time of launch, Lattelecom’s business customers get access to several new services and features. With Storegate Online File Server, you collaborate with your colleagues just as you were using a normal file server. Share files, folders and other information internally or externally. Some other examples; an automated backup client which secures all the customers’ digital files to the cloud in real time, a user-friendly web interface as well as smartphone apps to share and access stored information.

    – The choice of Storegate was based mainly on two facts; firstly, there are features in Storegate’s services that we, as a leading-edge internet service provider, want to offer our customers. Secondly, Storegate has shown that they are capable of delivering a flexible solution which is adaptable to Lattelecom’s systems says Gusts Muzikants, Director of Lattelecom Business clients department.

    – Lattelecom is a leading-edge provider on the market and offers their customers the latest services in telecom. We are very excited to be a part of their service and product offerings, says Stefan Ivarsson, Sales Director at Storegate.

Lattelecom launched the service on the 16th of April 2013.

    Storegate reaches new markets

  • Storegate offers one concept with combined products for online storage, file sync, file sharing and backup of devices to the cloud without compromising the data security. Storegate.com is now available for customers in France and Germany.

    – It feels great to offer our services on the French and German market. Today, billions of files are stored by Storegate’s services via www.storegate.com and through our service providers. This is a fact we are very proud of, but our greatest pride is to be able to provide worldwide access to customer’s information when they need it the most; anytime, anywhere. That’s what we call cloudbility. Our support team often get in contact with foreign businesses and consumers which aren´t very comfortable with our English site. The domestic language is, and will always be a showdown when it comes to choosing a provider. By launching our services in these markets we will reach a larger customer base and gain more knowledge on customer needs in different countries. In addition, we are open for any new partner in Europe, Torbjörn Lindkvist concludes, Marketing & Sales Director at Storegate.
