A blue-yellow cloud - part of our new identity

As of today, it will be more clear to Storegate's customers that all files are stored in Sweden and under Swedish law.

Storegate updates its visual identity and changes its logo. The new logo is part of a major overhaul in which Storegate intends to consolidate its position and strengthen its brand in an increasingly turbulent market and environment. The design takes its cue from the values that have underpinned what Storegate does and has done since the company was founded - security and integrity. The message of the communication is the advantage of storing your files in Sweden, out of reach of foreign authorities and protected by Swedish law.

A blue-yellow cloud

A separate cloud symbol with Swedish blue and yellow colour scheme emphasises the fact that all storage takes place in Sweden and is protected by Swedish law. Thus, all information and personal data is stored from access from so-called third countries such as Japan or the United States. In recent years, several discussions have flared up regarding data management, personal data management, disclosure of information to authorities, new EU directives and so on, which has created a lot of uncertainty in the market. The positive effect for us at Storegate is that more and more companies are becoming more aware when it comes to choosing a cloud service.

- As the world looks and develops today, a Swedish cloud service is a safer alternative, says Matz Karlsson, CEO of Storegate AB. We are convinced that the demand for confidentiality and privacy will increase among Swedish entrepreneurs. This, together with the fact that we are close at hand when help is needed, gives us a well-justified place in the market.

A Swedish tiger in a new guise

Storegate is based on Swedish neutrality in combination with the principle of integrity of "a Swedish tiger" - but in a modern version. The analysis for the future is based on the company's values in relation to developments in the world and has been discussed with experts and lawyers for some time. Going forward, several of the company's channels and communications will be adjusted to convey the position clearly, including an updated website and, of course, the new look will be reflected in the apps, clients and interfaces used for the company's services. With a clear look, Storegate aims to position itself as a safe and secure choice for storing files in the cloud.

New policy makes position clear

An updated privacy policy, which is a written accountability and promise to customers for how the company handles the information with which they are entrusted, helps clarify Storegate's position. It explains how it meets and exceeds the requirements of new EU directives and in situations with third countries, such as the US, at all levels.
