Hello Mattias Jönsson - Storegate's kind-hearted and wise CTO
Our technical manager Mattias lives in the centre of Karlshamn, next door to the city's artificial turf field. He is responsible for the company's IT operations and system development. Taking on the role of coach and driving his team forward is Mattias' superpower. It doesn't matter if it's at work or in IFK Karlshamn's football club that he is involved in on a voluntary basis. He has a big heart both for the club life and for his work with us.
At Storegate, we are like a big family and we like to let our customers and partners into that warmth. We have a strong customer focus and everyone is passionate about doing their best to keep our users happy and get the most out of our services. The absolute best thing about Storegate is all our sharp and talented people.
Every day, Mattias organises a short morning meeting with all staff to kick-start the working day. He checks if there is anything special going on during the day and takes the opportunity to cheer on all staff. A typical working day for him often consists of various project meetings to check in on the situation and to drive forward work on the various projects we have going on at the moment. Project management is therefore a big part of Mattias' role here at Storegate.
I like to work in a dynamic environment where there is a lot going on, and at Storegate you get to work on many different things. This is thanks to our different business areas where we both sell directly to end customers and deliver our platform to larger customers as a system provider.
From the very beginning, Mattias started his journey in IT as a system developer and architect at Volvo in Olofström. Then he switched to us at Storegate and he has now been part of the team for almost 13 years. He is a valuable asset to the company and with his unique talent for juggling, he fits like a glove at our company. A very useful talent when he has many balls in the air. Like right now, when there are many exciting things going on within the company.
